TePeka Organic Farms

Neville & Marlene Parkinson farm their 3rd generation 280ha family farm on the southern coast of Southland. The farm has been organic for many years. Neville co-founded Organic Futures which he runs with Maurice Hellewell in Waimate.

The farm runs around 1100 Romney/Texel/Perendale ewes plus 300 hogget's. They fatten around 200 beef cattle and 1500 store lambs each year.

Due to the coastal rainfall they grow grass all year round and generate all their own supplements.
