Hunter Down Farm

Richard and Ayleen Hunter are the owners of the 200ha property in the Clydevale District of South Otago. We are second generation of Hunters on this property.

We began looking at organic farming about 10 years ago, and started looking at organic practices and began implementing them on our property before getting our organic certificate 8 years ago.

Hunter Down Farm is a family orientated business, which includes our three sons who enjoy the farming lifestyle and take an active role in helping on the farm.
